Update from Dr. Elizabeth

2/4/26 update:

I will be taking a leave of absence beginning on February 9th as we welcome home our first (human) child. I plan to be away for at least one month, and possibly a bit longer, depending on how my family is doing and how much time I am needed at home. At this time, I anticipate returning mid March, but this may change.

I will post updates here as I have them so families can adjust their expectations accordingly. Below this message is referral information for other veterinarians who can provide in-home euthanasia and hospice care during my absence. Please contact these practitioners as directed by their websites.

I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. I truly appreciate your understanding, especially knowing that your pet’s end-of-life and hospice needs are often time sensitive. I look forward to returning to this important work when things have settled with our new addition.
